Dietary & Weight Loss Supplements
& Pills
What is a Dietary Supplement?
The term "dietary supplement" is defined in the Dietary Supplement
Health and Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994. A dietary supplement is a product
taken orally that adds to a person's diet through the use of nutritional
ingredients. Examples of dietary supplements include vitamins, minerals,
herbs, and enzymes. Some diet pills used to enhance weight loss are marketed
as non-prescription or over-the-counter weight loss supplements and pills.
Diet and Weight Loss Supplements
If you want to reduce weight and you are considering buying supplements,
then for optimum health, as well as fat loss, check ingredients thoroughly.
Labelling and health follow-up arrangements for dietary supplements are
relatively lax, so it's up to you to vet the supplement product!
