Some dieters think losing weight means going hungry. But the truth is, weight loss has nothing to do with hunger. Here are some simple weight loss tips to avoid the problem.

Hunger is influenced by many things, including:

  • The volume of food in our stomach
    Weight Loss Tip: Include plenty of fiber in your diet. It's calorie-free because we can't digest it, but it fills our stomach and reduces hunger.
  • The stability of our blood-sugar levels
    Weight Loss Tip: Include plenty of low-GI foods in your diet. "Low GI foods" are foods low on the Glycemic Index, meaning foods that are slow to digest. These foods keep our blood sugar levels stable and prevent hunger and/or cravings.
  • The amount of exercise we take
    Weight Loss Tip: Exercise helps suppress appetite. It's great for weight loss.
