Fat Metabolism Uses Fewer Calories
The body easily converts surplus fat in
your diet (that which isn't needed for energy) into body fat on your stomach
or thighs. Research shows that the fat in your diet is much more easily
converted into body fat than either protein or carbs. That's hardly surprising,
really, as carbs and protein both need to undergo radical changes to turn
into fat - whereas fat is, well, fat! Research also seems to show that
when we eat carbs, protein or alcohol our metabolism apparently responds
to the fact that food is being eaten and begins to burn it off straight
away. But when we eat fat, the fat seems to slip in unnoticed, and the
metabolic rate stays the same. This is another reason why dietary fat
creates body fat.
Weight Loss Diet Advice
Weight loss diets should contain balanced
eating plans which include all food groups. Because a balanced diet gives
you more nutrition. Remember: a well-nourished body loses weight faster.
