Obesity, Fat and Sugar

One of the contributors to Western obesity is the range of processed (binge) foods which are high in both fat and sugar. Like cakes, pastries, cookies, candies and so on that are combinations of fat and sugar or fat and flour, or all three. These highly refined foods are the ones many people find hard to resist - partly because of that 'melt in the mouth' fat feeling; and partly because these refined foods tend to cause highs and lows in our blood sugar levels which can make us crave them more.

Bottom line: if you want to lose weight and then maintain your weight, eat fewer processed foods and more 'natural' foods like fruit and vegetables.

Weight Loss Diet Advice

Weight loss diets should contain balanced eating plans which include all food groups. Because a balanced diet gives you more nutrition. Remember: a well-nourished body loses weight faster.
