British Heart Foundation Diet

What is The British Heart Foundation Diet

Sometimes called the Greenlane Diet, this very low calorie fad diet has nothing to do with the British Heart Foundation. The foods on the diet are rather old fashioned and similar to the crash diets from the 1970's.

What You Eat on The British Heart Foundation Diet

Grapefruit, dry toast, cottage cheese, 'snax' biscuits, tuna, melon, vanilla ice-cream and beetroot. There does not appear to be any logic behind the choice of foods or magical chemical reaction that will cause us to lose weight.

How The British Heart Foundation Diet Helps You Lose Weight

This is a very low calorie fad diet, about 700 calories a day, so you are certain to lose weight on it. However, such very low calorie diets are better avoided unless followed under medical supervision.

Weight Loss Diets
There's no such thing as a perfect weight loss diet. Almost all weight loss diets help us lose weight and teach us something about healthy weight control. But exercise is an important part of all weight loss programs, so set aside enough time for an aerobic workout.
