What You Eat on The Cabbage Soup Diet

Cabbage soup, fresh fruit, boiled rice, lean beef and chicken and vegetable drinks. A typical daily calorie intake is 800 to 1000 calories. Only a small range of foods is recommended and no herbs or spices are recommended for the soup.

How The Cabbage Soup Diet Helps You Lose Weight

The diet is effective for temporarily losing a few pounds of weight. It is not recommended as a long-term weight loss diet, but used 1 week in 3 it might result in weight maintenance.
