Most organic foods contain about the same number of calories as their non-organic counterparts. Thus weight loss is no more likely on organic weight loss diets than regular-food weight loss diets, even if many dieters report that organic food tastes better.

That said, if organic food tastes better, then it may help you to be satisfied with smaller portions. There is evidence that the some organic foods (fruit, vegetables and meat) contain less water than non-organic, which would make it more satisfying.

However, even if weight loss is no faster on organic diets, most dietitians agree that organic food is more nutrient-dense and less toxic than regular food. So from a health viewpoint, organic weight loss diets are better.

There's no such thing as a perfect weight loss plan. Almost all weight loss programs help us lose weight and teach us something about healthy dieting. But exercise remains important for all weight loss diets, so set aside enough time for aerobic exercise.
