What Is The Scarsdale Diet

One of the most famous high protein weight loss diets, the Scarsdale Diet plan consists of 43 percent protein, 22.5 percent fat and 34.5 percent carbohydrate and is combined with The Scarsdale Keep-Trim program.

What You Eat on The Scarsdale Diet

The diet contains a long list of restricted foods, and consists of an average of 1000 calories a day. Drink only sugar free beverages, eat lots of grapefruit and maintain a low carbohydrate diet. Snacking is not allowed, and herbal appetite suppressants are now encouraged. Meals consist of fruit, vegetables, and lean sources of protein in unlimited amounts.
