The Scott & White Diet has nothing to do with the Scott & White Clinic, in the USA. The diet is high in protein and fat and very low in carbohydrates. It is a fad diet, nutritionally unbalanced and should not be taken seriously.

What You Eat on The Scott & White Diet

Dieters are encouraged to eat large portions of food and use high-fat cooking methods such as frying. It also advocates the use of calorie-laden sauces. It contains only one-fourth of the carbohydrates a normal person needs every day. It is very low in fiber, vitamins and minerals.

How The Scott & White Diet Helps You Lose Weight

The diet states, "Eat until you are stuffed, the more you eat of the proper combinations of the foods, the more you will lose." There is no medical evidence for this claim. The Scott & White Diet is a fad diet and any weight loss will be due to a severely restricted calorie intake.
