What is the Ideal Weight for a Healthy
Heart?
As far as ideal weight for a healthy heart
goes, most research seems to show that the people with the healthiest
hearts are actually quite thin. The World Health Organization says that
death from heart disease is increased in individuals only 10 percent above
average weight, while recent research published in the European Heart
Journal suggested that, for middle-aged women at least, a healthy BMI
is only 22 - less than most experts would cite as a healthy weight in
mid-life for the prevention of osteoporosis. Other weight-health research
appears to concur with this surprising result.

Weight loss and health go hand in hand.
The healthier your body, the faster you lose weight. Which is another
good reason to exercise regularly and eat healthily. And it's another
good reason to avoid fad diets or weight loss methods (like weight loss
pills and supplements) that don't help us to develop good eating habits.
