Creatine Supplements for Fat Loss &
Weight Control
A nonessential amino acid which has been
shown to enhance energy production in high-intensity exercise (e.g. sprint,
weightlifting) but appears to do little for long-term aerobic energy or
weight control.
For unfit people the advantage of taking
a creatine supplement has been little researched. It may make it easier
to improve performance in the gym, for example, but there are concerns
about the side effects of creatine supplements, including cramp, dizziness
and kidney problems in susceptible people. Creatine doesn't work if you
take caffeine or caffeine-containing supplements in the same time.
