Lunch
Tuna fish well drained, salad with oil-free dressing, coffee

Dinner
Roast lamb, all visible fat removed, salad with lemon and vinegar dressing, coffee

Scarsdale Diet - Short-Term Weight Loss

The Scarsdale Diet is low in calories and quite low in carbs, so it should produce fat and fluid loss, as well as loss of lean tissue.

Scarsdale Diet - Long-Term Weight Loss

The two weeks on, two weeks off approach is quite good and means that the overall calorie count of the plan isn't quite as low as it may seem, but Tarnower is very strict about following the diet to the letter during the two weeks, so if you like being told what to do, with little room for choice, then it should be quite easy.
