Eat Slowly To Lose Weight
Weight loss experts advise people who want
to lose weight, to eat slowly. As food is digested in the body a chemical
called cholecystokinin (CCK) is released. This chemical tells the brain
when we have eaten enough to satisfy our appetite. It takes time for the
brain to receive this message, so by eating slowly, we give our body time
to react. If we eat too fast, our brain does not register that we are
full and we continue to eat and gain weight. So slow down, drink a sip
of water between mouthfuls of food if you want to lose weight.
