Sugar Contains Empty Calories

Sugar is a source of "empty" calories. It is added to foods low in nutrients like cakes, candy and soda drinks to make them taste better. Result? We end up eating lots of "empty" calories which do not provide any nutrients or fill us up. So reduce (but don't eliminate) your sugar intake if you want to lose weight.

[Note: most weight loss studies show that eliminating sugar from a diet makes it too unfriendly for most dieters].

Drink diet sodas rather than regular sodas and buy sugar-reduced rather than regular jelly.

Weight Loss Advice

Obesity and weight reduction is becoming a huge health issue. Before buying any weight loss pills or enrolling for gastrointestinal weight loss surgery, remember that long-term weight control is based on a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise, no matter which weight loss option you choose.
