Skipping Meals May Cause Cravings
Skipping meals does not help weight loss.
Going too long without food causes our blood sugar and energy levels to
drop. Result? We may develop cravings which require instant gratification.
This leads us to snack on high calorie foods. Solution? If you think you
may have to skip a meal, take a bag of carrot sticks or air-popped popcorn
(one cup is 30 calories). Or drink a diet soda or sparking water to satisfy
your appetite.
