Thirst & Weight Control
Following a weight loss diet is easier
if we drink plenty of fluids - preferably water (as it contains no calories).
Weight loss studies show that people are more inclined to eat if they
are thirsty. They confuse hunger for thirst. Dehydration causes tiredness
which makes us reach for food as an energy boost. So to avoid craving
high-energy snacks, drink a glass of water. Weight loss experts say we
should aim to drink 4 glasses of water for every 1,000 calories consumed
to avoid dehydration.
Weight Loss Advice
Obesity and weight reduction is becoming
a huge health issue. Before buying any weight loss pills or enrolling
for gastrointestinal weight loss surgery, remember that long-term weight
control is based on a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise, no matter
which weight loss option you choose.
