Are all vegetables suitable for a weight loss diet program?

Yes, but some vegetables are more calorie dense (contain more starch) than other vegetables. If you want to lose weight, limit the amount of calorie dense vegetables to one or two servings per day.

Calorie dense vegetables include corn, potatoes, pumpkin and green peas. Instead, fill up on watery vegetables. These include cucumbers, celery, broccoli, asparagus and eggplant for a healthy weight and body.

It is almost impossible to overeat or gain weight by eating too many watery vegetables.
