Setting Realistic Weight Loss Targets
& Goals
If we want to lose weight - we need to
keep our weight loss targets manageable.
None of us are super-human - we only have
so many hours in the day. So decide how much weight you want to lose (say,
20 pounds) and make this your main weight loss target. Next divide your
main weight loss target into mini targets - say 5 pounds each. Because
it's much easier to lose 5 pounds (success!) than to lose 20 pounds. Reward
yourself with a non-food treat when you reach each weight loss goal. Weight
loss goals must be realistic if we are ever to reach our ideal body weight.

a huge health issue. Before buying any weight loss pills or enrolling
for gastrointestinal weight loss surgery, remember that long-term weight
control is based on a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise, no matter
which weight loss option you choose.
