Weight Loss Studies Results
A Brazilian weight loss study found a 20 percent decrease in appetite
for women on a weight loss diet who ate at least 3 servings of fruit a
day. Yet another weight loss study showed eating three pears or apples
a day allowed people to lose 30 percent more weight than those who were
on a similar diet plan without the added fruit.
Weight Loss Studies Conclusion
All of the diets included a high-fiber content, which slows down the emptying
of the stomach. The diets didn't include much fat and they have natural
fruit sugar, all of which help to control our energy intake and ultimately
our weight. But they warn that calories still count in diets.
